Parks in the city...

So far, we have found that the parks here are amazing.  Central Park is right outside our front door and we've gone over a couple of times to play at the different play areas they have on the side nearest us.  So far, I've found 3 that are within a 5 minute walk from our front door.  We also ventured on the subway to find a free craft time at a park on the Upper West Side called Riverside Park.
The parks are all pretty huge but pretty great.  They are all completely fenced in and gated.
So far, I have felt pretty safe and comfortable in them.  Most people leave their strollers unattended.  So far, I havsn't seen any sketchy folks hanging around them but we have had some nice talks with Hannah regarding Stranger Danger and "free candy".   All of the parks have some sort of splash pad also and really great built in sand boxes.  So far, it seems that most of them also have a section for big kids and a section for little kids.
A park we passed on the way to Target the other day.
Hunter loves the sandboxes.
